Why Yegua?

YEGUA is the Spanish word for mare, or a female horse.

Strong, graceful, intelligent, free-spirited. A mare’s trust and respect must be earned, but if you can win the heart of a mare you will have lifetime friend. My two mares, Jade and Roci, are my companions and muses. My work is inspired by the wild spirit of the yegua and the natural beauty of Baja California.
